This week the SureChill Cardiff team gathered at the company’s headquarters for the first in-person strategic planning sessions since the global pandemic started. It was a brilliant opportunity for those who had joined remotely over the last 18 months to finally meet everyone face-to-face, most notably the new CEO Emilien, who flew over from Senegal to join the team.

The office was once again buzzing, filled with fast-paced and reinvigorating discussions on the vision for the company. Each team member was involved in defining the company’s mission statement and ethos. Those based in Nairobi and Hong Kong joined in virtually to give key insights on findings from working on the ground alongside customers, distributors and manufacturers.

Everyone seized the opportunity of being gathered together, continuing animated discussions throughout the team dinner, drinks and breakfast morning meeting. It was fantastic to share knowledge on the unique SureChill technology, in the field experiences, customer insight and discussing exciting upcoming projects.

As Emilien now flies to meet the team out in Nairobi, the strategic planning conversations will continue. The focus will shift from medical to expanding the reach of SureChill’s home and small business technology.
